Imperial forces put down Warphead riot
Forever proving that life in Imperial service is many things but never dull, the fine men of the First Disorder had to break up one of their training routines to respond to reports of a riot breaking out at a nearby rec-square. Upon arriving at the ground there appeared to be a large number of locals in a state of disarray, determined to damage the property of local notables and disturbing the peace most foully.

While our glorious troops are indeed currently detailed as a diplomatic mission to ensure good will among the Imperial Citizenry, they remain loyal troopers first and foremost, and thus had to revert to law enforcement in the face of such disloyal and violent upheaval. This they did with appropriate restraint, the Dark Lord himself utilising his abilities to temporarily incapacitate two of the largest rioters, the unfortunates being used by the more intelligent ringleaders to head up this attempted rampage.

The rest of the squad were thus free to contain the remaining miscreants, with several improvised weapons being thwarted by the quality of Imperial plasteel, including resisting impact by large swinging weights on multiple occasions - FN-7623 is proof of the quality of that armour, having taken enough of a battering that he will need to spend at least a week repairing it to bring it to the fine standards expected of the Empire's Finest.

By the time order was restored, no fewer than 5 of the ringleaders were in custody and the remainder of the crowd dispersed. These five are being interrogated regarding the death of one of the rioters, known as Hearborx, with the current belief being that he was killed as a 'black flag' operation to make the peacekeeping force look bad.

At some point during the commotion, it appears that the automated scoring system of the rec-square was turned on, with damage to the sensors putting out nonsense data. This data suggested that the First Disorder squad, who were of course wearing their trackers as they had come from training, had scored twice against the rioters, who laughably called themselves the Wyrdstone Warpheads after a controlled mineral with pharmaceutical and (illegal) recreational uses. Citizens are reminded to report any suspected possession or sale of these minerals, lest further disturbances of this nature continue.

Successful start to new season
The Imperial troops participating in the new season have had a successful start to their campaign, despite playing under the dual suns of Tatooine based on the footage from the game. Our Imperial Heroes fought on through this oppressive heat, well above the normal tolerances for the climate controls of their formidable battle armour, utterly crushing their opponents despite their unfair advantage of 'normal clothing' and 'exposed skin for sweat to evaporate from'.

In fact, they were so far ahead that the opposition begged for the game to be called off early into the second half, with the Imperial team poised to demolish what remained of the starting lineup of their opponent, the Stuttgarden Twisters, or Stottwell Windpipes or some other bizarre appelation.

Unfortunately, the heat had created a significant mirage effect, which made it difficult for the official scorers to see the pitch. The result was that they did not correctly see the direction of each team at the beginning of the game, and thus recorded both touchdowns as being scored by the Stitching Twizzlers.

By the time our Stoic Defenders identified the error it was necessary for a B-96 Request for Score Review After Officiating Error to be completed, but the scorers did not have the necessary F-23 Request for Form form to hand. The matter has now been sent to the Imperial Bureaucracy, who will deal with the matter in due course.
