Description
For years Greensland were denied their best players when it came to representative matches. Their best players went to leagues outside of Greensland in pursuit of better contracts and opportunity to represent the Orc nation.
Greensland knew if they had their best players representing them, they would be able to showcase the quality players that Greensland produces and be competitive.
This brought the creation of the Greensland Morons which allowed for all players originating from Greensland to return and play for the home of origin.

Morons overcome Gang mentality The Greensland Morons limped into the 3rd Place Playoff against the Grinda Grrl Gang, but had an attitude that if they were there, they may as well try make something of it.
Early on it looked much like it had all season for the Morons, an inability to effectively stop their opponents, which meant they were chasing the scoreboard from about half way through the first half.
The Morons rallied however and didn't let the bad start upset them. Instead they started to get a little angry and started hitting a bit harder than their opponents.
The Morons started to get a numbers advantage, but were unable to score before half time.
In the second half the Morons didn't have it all their own way, and only managed to even up the game late after recovering their own turnover via an Intercept.
Once the game went into overtime, the Morons knew that if they just played a steady game and receiving the ball, they would be able to teach the Grinda Grrl Gang how grinding is really done.
From here the Morons made the most of their fortunes and secured a late win in overtime to finish an unlikely third in the All Orc League. |

Morons can't pull the Pork The Greensland Morons have come as close as possible to stopping the winning streak of the All Porks in the final round of the season, but were denied by the Squig.
The Morons found themselves facing a much tougher team, so decided they should bring in some star players. Once again they hired Ugroth Bolgrot, as well as some extra cash to get the ref to turn a blind eye. The Morons also hired Varag Ghoul-Chewer for the match.
The additions of these stars really gave the Morons some impetus to stick it to the All Porks.
The All Porks scored early on the Morons, but this signaled the time to bring Ugroth onto the pitch.
This game Ugroth really had his aim straight, managing to Seriously Injure two of the All Porks.
The Morons tried hard to even up by the break, but were denied by some persistent All Porks defence.
The second half saw the Morons making good progress into the All Porks half, but continually turned back until the very end of the game.
The Morons were within a hand-off from touching down, but it seemed by this stage, the Squig was upset with being dropped so many times, and he took his revenge on the intended ball carrier, denying the Morons a chance at getting the draw. |

Grrlz Gang up on the Morons The Greensland Morons have limped into their match against the Grinda Grrl Gang for the second last round of the regular season.
Needing a win to stay in contention for a Grand Final appearance, the Morons looked to tough it out, even hiring the help of Ugroth Bolgrot to give themselves as much of a chance a possible.
Unfortunately for the Morons, Ugroth seemingly only wanted to turn up for the money and not for any bloodbowl, knocking himself out with his chainsaw right from the kick-off.
The Morons tried their best through the first half to get an advantage anywhere they could, especially the scoreboard. Unfortunately they suffered too many knock-outs and were unable to protect the ball carrier.
The Morons were able to hold back the Gang for the first half though and went into half time level.
In the second half though the Morons were starting to feel the pressure from having a few of their knocked out players not return to the pitch. The Gang took no mercy on the Morons and went about sealing the game with a 1-0 win late in the game. |

Morons get Porked The Greensland Morons season has reached a new low after suffering their worst defeat of the season against the dominating All Porks.
The Morons were heading into the match with a few injuries carried over from their previous match and were looking outclassed from the outset against the All Porks.
Whilst the Morons didn't give up in their efforts to get a respectable score, the All Porks were ruthless and went about bashing the walking wounded Morons into submission.
With few players left on the pitch at various stages through the match, it was hard for the Morons to stop the All Porks playing the game how they wanted.
The Morons were unable to stop the All Porks winning the game 2-0. The Morons head into their next match once again with injury concerns. |
